UPDATE: 1/1/13

I have been getting quite a few calls from companies and individual's that have STRESS related problems. Tai Chi, Qigong and Meditation are Excellent for reducing STRESS and reducing Employee Wellness Issue's. Please contact us for more information.

Our class's are a combination of Tai Chi & Qigong with the emphasis on QIGONG for health improvement and stability. We do not teach a full form of Yang or Wu style Tai Chi. If your goal is Health Improvement, , or Employee Wellness this is the class for you.

Our main geographical area of Wellness programs will be in and around the Antelope Valley, to include but not limited to Lancaster, Palmdale, Rosamond, and Acton. Class's can be held at your Church, Office or Company. We do NOT need a completely empty room to teach our movements. Most people attend our class in the same clothing they work in.

Tai Chi? Qigong? Whats the difference? Simply put, Tai Chi is a group or set of slow movements using your hands and feet. Tai Chi is normally done standing and can encompass from 8 - 129 different movements. Tai Chi was also first developed for self defense by Buddhist monks in China over 3000 years ago, but is now done SLOWLY for Improvement.

Qi Gong ( Che Gong, Ki Gong, Chi Gong ) pronounced as CHEE GONG was developed thousands of years ago also in China but for Health Improvement ONLY. Qi Gong can be done standing or sitting. Qi Gong has as few as 1 movement or as many as 18 movements in a set. This is because Qi Gong is done 1 movement at a time, very similar to Yoga which is probably where the term Chinese Yoga ( for Qi Gong ) came from.

In both Tai Chi and Qi Gong the movements are important but the breathing, visualization, and calm meditative ( relaxed ) state of mind are also very important. There are many studies all over the Internet on the benefits of Tai Chi & Qi Gong for helping you reduce and sometimes remove diseases and health conditions such as Heart Conditions, Diabetes, Cancers, and more. Tai Chi and Qi Gong movements are also very valuable in reducing and removing stress, anxiety and worry from your life.

I am certified to teach  "Tai Chi Easy"  by The Institute of Integral Qigong in Santa Barbara Ca. and "Tai Chi For Better Balance" from the Holistic Healing Institute in Eugene Oregon. During our class we teach a combination of Tai Chi movements and Qigong for health improvement. Much of what we teach can be found described in the book "The Healer Within" by Roger Jahnke D.O.M. I have added a few movements from LEE HOLDEN'S  ( PBS ) Qigong movements and Sharon Chiu Kent's 18 movements of Qi Gong to my standard class.
